ANOTHER TROPICAL STORM MAY FORM THIS WEEKEND… Take a deep breath as I know we’re just now saying goodbye to Hurricane Michael. Unfortunately, there’s a new development we need to discuss this evening. The National Hurricane Center says there is a 30-50% chance that a tropical storm will form in the western Caribbean Sea this weekend. This will likely be a system that initial moves to the west toward the Yucatan Peninsula, but there’s a lot of uncertainty as to what happens after that.

MODEL DATA ALL OVER THE BOARD… There is no use in discussing the 40 potential scenarios this evening as there are probably that many that may or may not happen at this stage. Early model guidance points to a westward motion toward the Yucatan. The big takeaway I want folks to be aware of this evening is that we may be dealing with yet another tropical storm in the Caribbean Sea as early as Saturday. We will keep you posted.

Have a nice evening!
