SEVERE STORMS IN SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI… The main line of thunderstorms we’ve been talking about for days is on the doorstep of west Alabama. Numerous severe thunderstorm warnings are in effect for parts of southeast Mississippi, extending from Quitman to Laurel to Hattiesburg to Wiggins to Gulfport. This line of storms is rapidly moving toward Choctaw, Clarke, Marengo, Washington, and Mobile counties in west Alabama. Don’t be surprised to see a severe thunderstorm warning posted for parts of these counties over the next 2 hours. A Tornado Watch is in effect for the entire region until 1PM.
