ALL CLEAR FOR COVINGTON COUNTY… The severe weather risk has ended for all parts of Covington County, AL. The main line of thunderstorms has moved east of the county and is now affecting parts of Coffee and Geneva counties. If you have storm damage or know about storm damage that has happened, please contact me and we will relay that to the National Weather Service.

LIST OF “ALL CLEAR” COUNTIES… If you are in any part of any of these counties, your severe weather risk has come to an end: Covington, Escambia (AL), Conecuh, Butler, Crenshaw, Escambia (FL), Santa Rosa, Mobile, Baldwin, Monroe, Clarke, Washington, Choctaw, Marengo, Wilcox. Extensive flash flooding continues in west Alabama. The only local county, at this point, that has not received an “all clear” is Okaloosa County in northwest Florida. Once storms clear out of Destin/FWB shortly, I’ll be able to give all clear. That will likely happen around 7:30PM.
