HEAVY AREAS OF RAIN MOVING EAST… We continue to monitor small areas of showers and thunderstorms moving northeast across south Alabama & NW Florida as of 2:32PM. The heaviest rain in our local area is currently happening in the northwestern part of Clarke County, near Campbell, Woods Bluff, Smyer, and Bashi. These storms in NW Clarke are producing LOTS of lightning and thunder!

Smaller, condensed areas of heavy rain are happening near Poarch, Citronelle, and Turnerville as well. The severe weather risk will continue to lessen over the next few hours as the better atmospheric dynamics lift northeast away from our area.
