ALL CLEAR! HIGH IMPACT SEVERE WEATHER EVENT COMES TO AN END… Go to sleep in peace if you’re in south Alabama or northwest Florida west of Destin and Crestview as the entire severe weather event is now over. I can give all local counties a big ALL CLEAR!! The tornado watch has been cancelled for all local counties. This was a widespread, significant round of severe weather with numerous tornadoes and many, many reports of trees being downed across our region. We will begin to assess the damage at first light, but I can tell you that **MANY** people are without power early on this Monday morning with many folks with trees down, some unfortunately through houses and residential structures.

My next forecast video will be posted by 7:15AM in a few hours. Unfortunately, we have yet another severe weather risk setting up for Thursday. Let’s all breathe and sleep easier over the next few hours and over the next few nights as Thursday may shape up to be another active weather day.

ALL CLEAR from this significant severe weather event though. Go to sleep! ?
