THUNDERSTORMS NEAR COASTAL AREAS… Now that the land breeze has kicked off, we’re seeing scattered thunderstorms pop up near the Alabama and northwest Florida beaches. These thunderstorms are producing loud thunder and quite a bit of lightning. Scattered storms will continue overnight intermittently near the beaches. More widespread rain and storms will fire up later today across inland areas.
