MOSTLY SUNNY & HOT TODAY; RAIN RETURNS IN DAYS AHEAD… Hot temperatures and mostly sunny skies are expected across south Alabama and northwest Florida on this Saturday. High temperatures will be in the 94-96° range, while heat index values will soar to near 105° by 2PM. Rain chances across the region today remain very low (10-20% chance) but we will see slightly higher rain chances Sunday into Monday as scattered P.M. storms become more likely.
TROPICAL WAVES IN EASTERN ATLANTIC… Multiple tropical waves are moving westward across the eastern part of the Atlantic Ocean. The National Hurricane Center continues to indicate that one or more of these tropical waves may become tropical storms over the next few days. Regardless of if formal development happens, no U.S. impacts are expected over the next 5-7 days.
