PRELIMINARY RAINFALL TOTALS FROM HURRICANE SALLY… Areas near Orange Beach and Perdido Key had *TWO AND A HALF FEET* of rainfall in a 48 hour period due to Hurricane Sally last week. Vast majority of our local area had in excess of 10 inches of rain in the same 48 hour period that led to historic flash flooding. Below, you’ll find specific rainfall totals for the local area based on reports received to the local National Weather Service office in Mobile, AL. Regardless of if your community is listed below or not, let us know your rainfall total from Hurricane Sally if you checked your rain gauge.
