PARTLY CLOUDY TODAY; MAINLY DRY FOR THANKSGIVING DAY… Clouds will hang tough for much of the day on this Wednesday. A few peeks of sunshine are likely across the region but we are not expecting rain today. High temperatures will be around the 60 degree mark – upper-50s farther inland and low-60s closer to the coast. Chilly nights are ahead with overnight lows in the low-40s tonight. Tomorrow will be mostly dry and a calm weather day, albeit quite chilly with highs only in the upper-50s.
MOSTLY CLOUDY & CHILLY THANKSGIVING DAY… Mainly dry conditions are in the forecast for Thanksgiving Day on Thursday. A few highly isolated showers may be possible in the evening hours, particularly across west Alabama. Most communities will remain dry on Thursday. Temperatures will be quite cool with most spots struggling to hit the 60 degree mark. Most locales will top out in the mid- to upper-50s.
A FEW SHOWERS EARLY FRIDAY MORNING… If you’re headed out for Black Friday shopping, take the rain jackets as isolated showers will be possible. Not every community will have rain in the very early morning hours of Friday, but I expect some will. Temperatures early Friday will start out in the mid-40s. Highs on Friday will be around the 60 degree mark, similar to Thursday.
MAINLY DRY WEEKEND; DRY FOR THE IRON BOWL… Partly cloudy skies are expected on Saturday and Sunday locally with highs in the low-60s. The Iron Bowl is in Auburn this year with kickoff set for 2:30PM CST. Game time temperatures will start in the upper-50s, falling into the upper-40s by the end of the game. Take the jackets for sure but know that the rain jackets probably won’t be needed.
