MOSTLY CLOUDY TODAY; FEW SPRINKLES POSSIBLE… Most locales will remain dry on this Monday but a few sprinkles and light rain showers may become possible this afternoon into the early evening hours. Skies will remain mostly cloudy throughout the day with high temperatures likely to be in the mid-60s. Tomorrow will feature slightly warmer temperatures with highs slated to be in the low-70s. Generally quiet weather is expected until Thursday with high temperatures progressively rising to around 80 degrees by Thursday and Friday. Our next rain chance happens late Thursday into Friday as multiple rounds of rain and thunderstorms become likely.
CHILLY NIGHT AHEAD… Most communities across south Alabama and northwest Florida will have overnight lows in the mid-30s by daybreak Tuesday morning. Locations closer to the immediate beach zones will be in the 40s. This will be the final night with lows in the 30s for at least the next week.
PARTLY CLOUDY TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY… Both Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to be pleasant weather days across the region with partly cloudy skies each day. High temperatures will be in the low- to mid-70s. No rain is expected on Tuesday or Wednesday.
SHOWERS POSSIBLE LATE THURSDAY EVENING… Cloud coverage will increase throughout the day on Thursday with a few showers becoming possible after sunset. High temperatures on Thursday will be near the 80 degree mark.
RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS AROUND FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY… Our next round of active weather is set to happen on Friday into Saturday. Unlike last weekend, Sunday may also feature unsettled weather across the region. While severe storms may be possible under some scenarios as we get toward the weekend, for now, forecast details remain a bit too uncertain to include any mention of severe weather. That is something I will be monitoring over the next several days. I will bring you the latest information in the RedZone Weather app.
