MORE STORMS LIKELY TUESDAY… Most of the showers and thunderstorms have faded away this evening across south Alabama and northwest Florida. There are a few lingering showers across Butler, Covington, and Okaloosa counties this evening, but I expect the rain to fade away over the next few hours. There will be more thunderstorms that pop up across our area on Tuesday, however. Have the rain gear handy as we have a 70% chance of showers and thunderstorms in place late morning through the evening hours on Tuesday.
Severe weather is not expected, but some of the storms could be on the strong side with heavy rain and prolific lightning output. We’ll have updates throughout the day here in the RZWeather app and on rzweather.com. Have a nice evening!
