LOUD AND PROUD STORMS… A line of storms is slowly sagging southward across Escambia County, Alabama. As of 5:39PM, storms are moving into Poarch, Appleton, Wallace, Brewton, East Brewton, Riverview, and Hoomesville.

That same line of storms extends to the west into northern Baldwin County near Tensaw. The same complex of storms also is draped from east to west across the Mobile River Delta into central/southern Washington County.

We also note a larger pulse thunderstorm is happening over Eglin AFB just north of Navarre. Storms are also firing up near Destin and another near Point Clear.

Storms will continue to produce lots of lightning and heavy downpours of rain over the next few hours. Storms will fade by 8-9PM as we begin to lose daytime heating.
