HIGH RISK OF FLASH FLOODING… Areas in southeast Alabama and the Florida Panhandle have a rare, high risk of flash flooding today as the core of Alberto makes landfall. Heavy rain has already happened in these areas and more is on the way. Much of southwest Alabama and northwest Florida remain in the “significant risk” zone, meaning flash flooding will still be possible and quite potent where it does occur.
