STRONG STORMS IN CONECUH & BUTLER COUNTIES… Very heavy rain and lots of thunder & lightning are happening near Evergreen, Owassa, Jay Villa, Johnsonville, Garland, Georgiana, and McKenzie as of 3:16PM. These storms are producing heavy rain, but aren’t severe. Storms in Conecuh, Butler, and Covington counties aren’t moving very much, thus if you have heavy rain at your location now, I expect it to continue for at least another 20-30 minutes.
The only severe storm (capable of producing large hail and damaging winds) is in southern Santa Rosa County over Pace and Avalon Beach.
