SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE… There are many small thunderstorms dotting the radar display early this evening across south Alabama and northwest Florida. At the moment, heavy rain is falling in/near Brewton, East Brewton, Jay, Berrydale, Florala, Laurel Hill, Wing, Excel, Gosport, McIntosh, Chatom, and Dixie.
I expect showers and storms to continue to develop and fade away over the next few hours. No severe weather issues are expected.
Where it’s not raining, temperatures continue to soar into the mid-90s. A Heat Advisory continues for the entire local area until 6PM.
