SHOWERS & STORMS OVERNIGHT… If you’re waking up because of the sound of heavy rain or lightning, you’re not alone. We had severe thunderstorms move across Monroe, Conecuh, Butler, and Covington counties earlier. Now showers and thunderstorms are developing across Clarke, Marengo, and Wilcox counties and moving southeast. This means that folks in Monroe, Conecuh, Butler, Escambia (AL), and Covington counties all may have rain showers and hear thunder overnight.
