HEAVY RAIN NEAR MOLINO; SCATTERED STORMS… Two distinct areas of scattered showers and thunderstorms have bubbled up early on this Tuesday afternoon. One area of scattered storms is over portions of Monroe and Clarke counties. These storms (near Hybart, Fulton, and Scyrene) are pushing eastward. The other area of storms extends from Coffee, Geneva, and Covington counties back down to southern Baldwin County. These storms are also drifting east.
Most spots across our area should have rainfall at some point before the end of the day. Widespread severe weather is not anticipated, but a few of the storms could ramp up to produce gusty winds, especially along and east of I-65.
