SHOWERS & STORMS TO THE NORTH… Several areas of showers and thunderstorms are moving east across the northern part of our local area. These areas of rain are out ahead of a cold front that is sliding southeastward across Alabama. Rain is possible over the next few hours in Washington, Clarke, Monroe, Conecuh, Butler, and Covington counties. I expect these areas of showers and storms to continue to push southward over the next few hours. Severe weather is not expected today.
