HEAVY RAIN & STORMS ACROSS REGION… Showers and thunderstorms continue to progressively move south across coastal stretches of south Alabama and northwest Florida. The heaviest areas of rain at the moment are near Warrington in the western part of the Pensacola metro. Storms are also producing heavy rain and lightning over Gulf Breeze and Pensacola Beach.
COOLER AIR MOVING IN… The showers and storms that are happening across our region are due, in part, to the cold front moving in from the north. Temperatures will slide into the 50s later tonight.
