MAJOR FLASH FLOODING IN WEST AL… A Flash Flood Warning is in effect for much of Clarke, Washington, Choctaw, and Wilcox counties in west Alabama until 6:30AM. This is a particularly dangerous situation as numerous roads are flooded! The Clarke County EMA reports that there are vehicles stranded along U.S. Highway 43 on the south side of Thomasville due to extreme flash flooding near Dummy Line Road.

Please STAY OFF THE ROADS in Clarke, Washington, Choctaw, and western Wilcox counties if you can. The heavy rain in these areas is only going to make these flash flooding problems worse over the next few hours.
