LINE OF STORMS ACROSS OUR REGION… The main line of thunderstorms we’ve been tracking over the last few hours is now moving across the heart of south Alabama. Storms extend from western Butler County southeastward to Mobile Bay. Heavy rain is starting now or imminently in places like Forest Home, Owassa, Evergreen, Castleberry, Nymph, Johnsonville, Flomaton, Atmore, Walnut Hill, Loxley, Gateswood, Silverhill, Fairhope, and Point Clear. Storms continue to move southeast very quickly.

RISK OF SEVERE WEATHER REMAINS VERY LOW… The odds of any given location having severe weather (damaging wind) issues today remain very low. The tornado risk is closer to zero. Once the main line of storms passes through your location, the severe weather risk will be at zero. This means we can give an ALL CLEAR to all parts of Mobile, Clarke Monroe, Washington, Choctaw, and Wilcox counties. Rain will continue in these counties over the next few hours, but the low-end risk of a strong to severe storm has ended.

NEXT IN LINE FOR STORMS… The main line of storms will move through in the next hour for communities like Greenville, Georgiana, McKenzie, Andalusia, Red Level, River Falls, Brooklyn, Brewton, East Brewton, Jay, Century, Molino, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Pensacola. I’ll be monitoring radar trends carefully.
