SUNSHINE RETURNS LATER TODAY… Clouds are hanging tough this morning in most spots across south Alabama and northwest Florida but most spots will be sunny by the end of the day. High temperatures fall back into the upper-60s today since a cold front crossed the region last evening. Several more sunny days are ahead before our next rain chance this weekend. Here are your weather headlines on this Tuesday…

CHILLY NIGHTS AHEAD… Overnight lows will drop into the mid-40s by 6AM Wednesday, but clearly our coldest nights of the next 7 days happen on Thursday and Friday mornings when northern spots in our area may be in the upper-30s. Clear skies are expected each night, allowing much of the built-up daytime heat to go away.

SUNNY DAYS THROUGH FRIDAY… Wednesday and Thursday are slated to be sunny and nice with increasing temperatures. Highs on Wednesday will be in the mid-70s with upper-70s likely for Thursday.

RAIN RETURNS THIS WEEKEND… Our next cold front will likely move through late Saturday or early Sunday. That timeframe is when you can expect showers and thunderstorms to return to our region. It’s too early to know whether severe weather issues can be expected. We’ll keep you posted about that in the RedZone Weather app over the next few days.

See all the details in your Tuesday #rzw forecast video… Have a great day!
