SHOWERS INCREASING IN COVERAGE… Pockets of rain are increasing in coverage this afternoon across south Alabama and northwest Florida. Over the last hour, we’ve seen more showers develop in Escambia (AL), Santa Rosa, and Escambia (FL) counties. These showers are moving east-northeast. Showers are happening now near Atmore, Canoe, Flomaton, McDavid, Molino, Mulat, Milton, Pace, Whiting Field, and Navarre. These showers will continue to move ENE toward Brewton, Berrydale, Riverview, East Brewton, Crestview, and Castleberry within the next hour.
No severe weather issues are expected on this Monday, but we are looking ahead to Tuesday and Wednesday when stronger storms may happen.
