SHOWERS & STORMS MOVING EAST… The small showers and thunderstorms in progress near the Alabama/Florida state line are moving eastward this evening. Heavy rain is happening as of 3:47PM near Flomaton, Bratt, Byrneville, Kirkland, Libertyville, Pleasant Home, and Bay Minette. These storms will likely remain below severe limits, although there could be loud thunder involved at times.
SEVERE STORMS TO OUR NORTH… Multiple severe thunderstorm warnings are in effect as of 3:47PM for parts of west central Alabama. Storms near Demopolis, Livingtston, York, and Pennington are moving southeast into the central part of Marengo County. Damaging wind gusts are possible shortly near Linden, Pennington, and Myrtlewood. This storm has a history of knocking down a few trees in Sumter County.
