MORE COUNTIES CLEARED FROM TORNADO WATCH… The Tornado Watch has been cancelled for Baldwin, Escambia (AL), and Conecuh counties. The Tornado Watch was cancelled earlier for Mobile, Washington, Clarke, Monroe, Butler, and Crenshaw counties.

That means that the only counties that remain involved in the Tornado Watch as of 7:10AM are: Covington, Escambia (FL), Santa Rosa, and Okaloosa counties.

It is quickly becoming apparent that the overall tornado risk is diminishing. The risk is not entirely over just yet in the four remaining counties involved in the Tornado Watch, but we are getting close to the point of the risk being over. I suspect we will be able to give a final “all clear” well sooner than 10AM.
