MILD DAYS; COOL NIGHTS TO CONTINUE; SHOWERS POSSIBLE BY THURSDAY… I’ve been told the weather we are having is “Chamber of Commerce weather” since it is so nice, so pleasant, with no severe storms expected anytime soon! High temperatures will be in the mid-70s on this Monday. Other than a few passing clouds today, our weather pattern will remain calm. A few showers may become possible near the immediate coast tomorrow afternoon and evening, although I expect the vast majority of our local communities to remain dry. Showers may become more widespread later in the week. The upcoming weekend looks dry and nice, however. A few more Monday morning forecast notes are below.

TROPICS REMAIN QUIET… Unlike last hurricane season (2020) when we were getting ready for Hurricane Zeta this time last year, this year on October 18, the Atlantic Basin is completely quiet. No tropical storms are expected to form over the next 5 days. This is great news!

NO SIGNS OF SEVERE WEATHER OR TROPICAL TROUBLE… October is historically one of our more quiet weather months, outside of the threat of occasional hurricanes in the month. No hurricane issues are on the horizon nor are any severe weather issues. Quiet, nice weather with occasional showers and storms seem to be our pattern for the next 7-10 days.
