SCATTERED STORMS DEVELOPING… The broadly rotating thunderstorm we’ve been tracking in west Alabama over the last hour has weakened and is no longer likely to cause an imminent tornado warning in Washington County, thankfully.
Scattered thunderstorms continue to develop across the region. At the moment, storms are firing up near Jay, McDavid, Chatom, Wilmer, Toddtown, and Munson.
More storms are expected to develop over the next few hours. The severe weather risk will ramp up in the hours ahead.
