STORMS POPPING UP… The first of the showers and thunderstorms slated to pop up on this Tuesday have developed across south Alabama and northwest Florida. Storms are drifting southeast today.
Strong to marginally severe thunderstorms will be possible this evening. Not every community will have rain before the end of the day, but where storms do fire up, some may be marginally severe.
Heat index values are already beyond 100° in many spots across the region.
