SUNNY SKIES TODAY; WARM DAYS CONTINUE INTO WEEKEND… Plenty of sunshine is in the forecast for south Alabama and northwest Florida on this Wednesday. High temperatures will again be in the mid-80s across the region. Unfortunately, we continue to see signs of no rainfall in the 7-10 day range, meaning ongoing drought conditions across the region will continue to worsen. On the bright side, we have a nice, sunny few days ahead. High temperatures will be in the 80s into the weekend with morning lows in the upper-50s and near 60 degrees.

TROPICAL UPDATE… Hurricane Tammy continues to move northeast in the southwestern Atlantic Ocean between Bermuda and the northern Leeward Islands. Tammy is forecast to continue moving northeast before looping back to the west this weekend into early next week, likely as a weaker post-tropical disturbance. Interests in Bermuda should closely monitor the progress of Hurricane Tammy. Elsewhere in the Atlantic Basin, including in the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea, conditions are quiet with no new tropical storms expected to develop over the next 5-7 days.
