SUNNY TODAY; RAIN LIKELY WEDNESDAY… Enjoy the sunshine that happens on this Tuesday as we have a round of rain, potentially heavy rain at times, setting up for Wednesday. No snow, mixed precipitation, or severe weather issues are in the forecast for tomorrow, but we may have a few rumbles of thunder closer to the immediate coast. High temperatures today will be in the upper-40s farther inland with 50s likely closer to the I-10 corridor. After the rain tomorrow, we go dry for Thursday and Friday ahead of our next significant chance of rain on Saturday.

RAIN RETURNS TOMORROW; FEW STORMS NEAR COAST… Wednesday will be a cold, raw day with numerous showers expected throughout the day. No mixed precipitation or snow is expected but a cold rain is likely at times for much of the day on Wednesday as an area of low pressure passes to our south in the northern Gulf. High temperatures on Wednesday will likely be stuck in the 40s in many spots across the region. No severe weather is expected on Wednesday as all of the surface-based instability will remain to the south of a warm front that is expected to remain offshore. Thunder will be possible at times tomorrow, particularly in communities closer to the immediate coast.

MORE RAIN AT TIMES ON SATURDAY… Thursday and Friday are forecast to be dry and cool ahead of our next rain chance (after tomorrow) setting up for Saturday. Showers and thunderstorms are likely throughout the day on Saturday with heavy rain also being possible at times. Our weather pattern will remain active into next week with more rain chances expected.
