DRY TODAY AND INTO WEEKEND; TEMPS NEAR 80° BY EASTER SUNDAY… Get ready for a very nice weather weekend across south Alabama and northwest Florida! High temperatures will be in the mid-70s today and tomorrow with 80s likely on Easter Sunday afternoon. No rain is expected anywhere close by today or into the weekend. Our next rain chance happens in the middle part of the upcoming week. Severe storms may also become a concern in areas to our north and west.

TEMPS IN LOW-50s FOR EASTER SUNRISE… If you have outdoor plans for an Easter Sunday sunrise service, temperatures will be in the low-50s around 6AM. Sunrise on Easter Sunday happens at 6:37AM. No rain is expected on Sunday. High temperatures will be in the low-80s.

DRY MONDAY; RAIN MIDWEEK… Partly cloudy skies are in the forecast for Monday ahead of our next chances of rain arriving on Tuesday into Wednesday. The Storm Prediction Center has included the far northern part of Alabama in a Level 2 (out of 5) severe weather risk zone valid for Tuesday. This risk zone also includes much of Tennessee and Kentucky. Locally, I am expecting rain being more likely to happen on Wednesday, but severe weather parameters remain low in the local area. I will have further updates on this in the days ahead.
