SEVERE STORM NEAR MT. VERNON… Half dollar size hail will be possible near Mount Vernon and U.S. Highway 43 in northern Mobile County shortly as a severe storm moves east. We encourage no travel on US43 from near the AM/NS Calvert plant southward to the Bucks community.

STRONG STORM NEAR POARCH… Loud storms are also happening just north of Atmore in western Escambia County, Alabama near Poarch. These storms are moving northeast toward Huxford, McCullough, Wallace, Vocation, Barnett Crossroads, and Kelley State Park. These storms are capable of producing penny-sized hail and gusty winds up to 50 mph.

STRONG STORM NEAR WING… Storms are also happening near the Alabama-Florida state line near Wing, AL and Good Hope, FL in northern Okaloosa County. These storms will basically move east right along the state line toward Laurel Hill, Lockhart, and Florala over the next 30-45 minutes.

If you are close enough to a storm to be able to hear thunder, get inside! More storms will likely develop over the next several hours.
