STRONG STORMS POSSIBLE THURSDAY EVENING INTO FRIDAY MORNING… Scattered, rowdy thunderstorms will become possible on Thursday night into early Friday morning as a cold front approaches south Alabama and northwest Florida from the northwest. Damaging wind gusts and large hail will likely be the hazards of main concern. The overall tornado risk will probably remain LOW, but perhaps not entirely zero. For now, the Storm Prediction Center includes our local area in their Level 2 (out of 5) severe weather risk, meaning scattered severe storms will be possible.

APP… If you haven’t already, be sure to download the free RedZone Weather app to keep up with all the latest information on the world of weather in south Alabama and northwest Florida. redzoneweather.com/app is the link for the free download. Once you have the app downloaded to your iOS or Android device, be sure to visit the Alerts tab (lower right corner) and tap the Alert Settings button to customize the alerts you would like to receive straight from me.

I will have a full rundown on specifics for this upcoming severe weather risk in the next regularly scheduled RedZone Weather forecast video that will be posted by 7:15AM tomorrow morning.

Have a nice Tuesday evening!
