SCATTERED SHOWERS & STORMS CONTINUE… Several showers and thunderstorms continue across the region as of 4:18PM. At the moment, the strongest thunderstorm is happening near Whatley and Gosport in eastern Clarke County. Nasty travel at the moment between Grove Hill and the Alabama River near Claiborne.
Numerous showers are also happening near Pensacola, Brewton, Milton, Pace, Pensacola Beach, NAS Pensacola, Castleberry, Evergreen, Andalusia, and Florala.
You can clearly see the many clouds now in place across our region in the satellite/radar composite image, above. These clouds should act as somewhat of a stabilizer over the next few hours, meaning many of the showers and storms currently in place should fade away over the next 3 hours.
Another round of primarily P.M. showers and storms will happen on Sunday.
