STORMS SLIDING SOUTHWEST NEAR DIXONVILLE… In addition to the severe thunderstorm that is moving southwest in Okaloosa County just south of Crestview, we’re also monitoring a “loud and proud” thunderstorm near Dixonville, Travis Road, and Sellersville in southeast Escambia (AL) County. I’m hearing lots of thunder in Brewton, and while the core of the storm will clearly pass to the south of Brewton and East Brewton, I wouldn’t be shocked to see heavy rain shortly as storms continue to pop up around the area.
Storms will gradually lose strength in the next hour or so as the sun sets at 7:38PM.
